Privacy and personal data policy

Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

Numera Mässor AB with organization no. 556535-4239 is responsible for the processing of your personal data. It is a matter of course for us to protect your privacy and take care of your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation and regulations within the industry. Our personal data policy covers the measures we take to ensure that all information that comes into our possession is properly stored, kept confidential and used only for its original purpose. We respect all visitors to our websites and we treat your information securely and responsibly. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, also known as GDPR).

Before, during or after an event, we can contact you via e-mail, phone, SMS or post. The personal information may include name, address, telephone/mobile number, e-mail address, professional role and possibly company/organisation.

The data we collect

We collect non-personal information, e.g. IP addresses, frequently visited pages and downloaded files. This gives us information about the performance of the website, how many visitors we have to the website, which pages are most popular and how often visitors are on the website.

We also collect certain personal data about you. We collect personal data that you voluntarily give us, e.g. when you participate in our events, choose to subscribe to one of our newsletters, participate as an exhibitor or communicate with us via e-mail or other channels where you register. The information we may collect is your name, your address, your email address, your job title and your industry. In some cases, your personal data has been collected from other sources based on your professional role and when we have assessed that you are interested in certain events. These sources may include purchasing data records, searches through publicly available search engines, and your employer's website.

For you who visit public events as a private person

When you visit one of our public events as a private person, we process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To register your purchase of a ticket for the event (applies if you have purchased a ticket in advance).
    • To communicate with you after the event, e.g. to send you information, offers or surveys.

We will communicate with you through confirmations of ticket purchases via e-mail, SMS or per mail. We will also send you emails with newsletters, offers and other marketing relating to the event and similar events that we think you might be interested in. You can change these choices at any time via the link in our emails. We may also contact you with market research about the event.

If you have given us consent to contact you as described above, we will keep your information until you ask us otherwise. You can have your registration removed again at any time. See our contact details below. In the event that no activity takes place (for example, the purchase of a ticket, a phone call or a click on a link in a newsletter), or if consent has not been obtained, we will store your information for a maximum of two years after your last activity.

Please note that no credit card payment information is stored. This information is processed by third parties who are independent data controllers.

To you who visit, participate as an exhibitor or receive marketing about our events by virtue of your professional role

A “professional role” refers to all visitors or potential visitors to professional or industry events. In order to purchase a ticket for one of our events, it is necessary to provide us with certain personal information. The necessary information is provided when you place your order. For example, if you participate as an exhibitor at one of our events, we are obliged to store your data in order to fulfill our contract.

In general, we process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To register and manage your registration for the event: Confirmations, information and invoices are sent via e-mail or regular post.
    • To communicate with you before and during the fair, e.g. to send you practical information.
    • To send information and marketing about the event and similar events that we think you might be interested in, or to send market research about the event.

You can at any time choose to unsubscribe from certain information or choose to be deleted from the register. See contact details below. We store your personal data for a maximum of four years from your last activity (e.g. participation in an event, purchase of a ticket, dialogue with us via e-mail or telephone or click on a link in a newsletter).

Opt-out, right to be deleted and right to lodge a complaint

You can unsubscribe from receiving information from us at any time, and you can choose which information you want to receive. You can do this by clicking on "Unsubscribe" in one of our e-mails. You will then be able to change your choices or completely stop subscribing to information from us. Your information will then be deleted from all systems. You also have a "right to rectification" and we endeavor to ensure that all information processed is correct. In addition, you have the right to "data portability" and "limitation of processing".
