Currently, he is chief project developer on one of Denmark's most ambitious urban development projects, the Railway City, which is the last major piece of urban development in southern Copenhagen .

Today he will share his vast knowledge and give a look into how Jernbanebyen, as one of the first districts to be DGNB-certified at both area and building level.

With Jernbanebyen, where the landowners are DSB Ejendomsudvikling, Freja Ejendomme and Banebykonsortiet, the ambition is to develop the 365,000 m2 into a new green and urban district in the middle of Copenhagen.

The railway city must bring the latest knowledge of environmental and climate technologies into play and promote the city's circular cycle and sharing economy. Therefore, the new district is being developed on sustainable and climate-friendly principles. The ambition is for the Railway City to be built with solutions that can contribute to promoting Copenhagen's overall climate goals and also enable the district to meet the climate challenges of the future.
