No economy without nature, the need for monitoring biodiversity

Biodiversity is quickly becoming a social license to operate. Starting from the 1st of January 2024, organizations with activities in the EU are obliged to collect, process and report data on biodiversity conditions. Furthermore, they are obligated to detail their strategies for mitigating biodiversity loss. What does this mean in practice?

Ejendomsmessen 2023 is proud to present Richard P. Blundell, CEO of FaunaPhothonics, to share his insights as a front runner of the rapidly increasing recognition of the need for monitoring biodiversity.

Richard Blundell has over 40 years of senior executive management and consulting experience in the global environmental services, cleantech and climate sectors. He is an Executive-in-Residence and Associate Professor, Teaching Stream, at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Richard holds a BSc from the University of Toronto and an MBA from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland.
